A glance to the future

In the fall of 2017 a new and exciting collaboration between myself and Keyboardist Dave Shulz was formed. Dave and I met in July 2017, on the stage rehearsing and performing for the Jennifer Kaiser CD release concert “Closer to Red”. Jennifer is a Miami based songwriter, with whom I’ve performed before and with whom Dave co- produced that entire album. After sharing some music with him, Dave seemed intrigued by my solo projects and had expressed an interest to get involved in my new project “Manifestations”. He entered the project as a “work for hire” musician but soon proved himself to be highly valuable to the production as a whole. His melodic and textural additions to each song brought them to a whole other level, which i was absolutely amazed by. That realization opened up a lot of interest for me to get him more involved in my project than expected. Dave showed great interest in partnering with me which led us to decided on taking “Manifestations” as a duo project. After many discussions and considerations we decided to drop the album concept and focus on releasing singles. At this moment, the very end of 2017- we have 12 songs which we want to release under the name “Frequency“. Our social media and website links will all be created in early 2018. I will keep you posted once we start getting our music out there. In the meantime I’d like to share with you some footage from a few songs which we will release soon with this new project:

Words:

Here is a teaser for “Words”, the original opening track of the album (which will still be released in a limited edition for the Kickstarter backers). The cinematographer in this video is Brian Bayerl. Kevin Krag & Jennifer Kaiser are both featured as 2 songwriters looking for inspiration while writing music in nature:

Freely:

Here is a sample of “Freely” a song by Linda Perhacs which I fall in love with and decided to Cover. It was produced and co-written by my good friend Fernando Perdomo who inspired me to cover it.

Some Days:

A few weeks ago I went to Sedona AZ to film the music video for “Some Days’ a collaborative project with both Dave Shulz & Frank Stroobandt (a guitarist, singer songwriter from Belgium). We hired Brian Bayerl again to direct and film this video. Here are some pictures we took while filming: Screen Shot 2017-12-20 at 8.43.27 AM Screen Shot 2017-12-20 at 8.43.36 AM Screen Shot 2017-12-20 at 8.43.45 AM Screen Shot 2017-12-20 at 8.43.54 AM Screen Shot 2017-12-20 at 8.44.03 AM
